Abstract
In the current study raises the question of man's image of the future in the philosophy of postmodernism. The author connects the formation of this philosophy to the crisis of human civilization: the loss of human existential self-understanding, the presence of the syndrome of "existential vacuum" in the majority of the inhabitants of the West, a factor of erasing the boundaries between the real and the virtual. The study proposes a paradigm shift from post-modern to sverhmodern.

Keywords: destruction of the postmodern, existential vacuum, manipulation of consciousness, of being forgotten, simulacrum, the gap between the real and the virtual
