Abstract
The article deals with the basic laws of the constable – one of the mass of police posts, originated in the reforms of the 1860's. A specific feature of their duties be-come universal: the purview of the constable as the problems were minor offenses-making and maintenance of fire safety and even snow removal on major roads of the province.
