Abstract
The article is devoted studied the problem of existence of civil procedure fictions. Based on the analysis of several examples, the author proves their existence and shows their appointment in the civil process. It is concluded that the application of the civil procedure fictions contributes to the timeliness and fairness of the consideration and resolution of civil cases, as well as the stability of judicial decisions.
