Abstract
The article presents some shortcomings of the Federal law №323 dated 21 November 2011 "About bases of public health protection in the Russian Federation" and also their possible social and economic consequences. The analysis of the Federal Law and the subsequent changes indicates insufficient development of a number of provisions of the Law and testifies the need for its further revision.
