LEGAL STATUS OF RUSSIAN JEWS IN THE XIX-EARLY XX CENTURY (RUSSIAN HISTORIOGRAPHY)

Abstract
The article considers the main stages of the Russian historiography on the Jewish question. Revealed that an intensive study of Jewish history turned interrupted during the Soviet period. After a long break study Judaica resumed after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
