Abstract
The article deals with the breaking up of the home guard in the Vyatka province in 1807-1809 years – so called Territorial Army. After end or Russo-Franco-German war of 1806-1807 year the threat of Napoleon’s invasion into Russia fell down. So the Territorial Army was broken up. Part of the warriors returned home. Most of the home guards entered military service in the regular army and garrison troops.
