Abstract
This article discusses the activities of the police authorities of Tyumen province in the period of the Soviet government's policy of "war communism" (1917-1921). Based on numerous archival materials, we analyze the problems encountered in the implementation of police functions, such as collecting requisitioning and carrying out work assignments.
