Abstract
This article provides a brief overview of the issues truth of the thesis of the universal character of European culture in the book of Prince Nikolai Sergeevich Trubetskoy`s "Europe and humanity." At the end of the article concludes that, in the opinion of N.S. Trubetskoy, the concept of universal human multiculturalism artificially replaced by the culture of the western world on their own culture.
