THE SOCIAL COMPOSITION OF THE POPULATION OF THE CITIES OF TOBOLSK PROVINCE IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE XIX CENTURIES

Abstract
Social class structure in Imperial Russia played a paramount role in society. Social status, position, rights and obligations – all this determined class affiliation of the person who was actually determined before birth. In cities this tendency, due to urbanization processes that have shaped the environment, existing way of life, had acquired a special significance. This is relevant in light of recent trends in science becomes the study of sociocultural phenomena from the standpoint of the history of everyday life. In this paper attempted to investigate the social structure of urban society, the second half of the XIX century in non central region of the country - the Tobolsk province. The boundary was chosen to the end of XIX - beginning of XX centuries under the influence of transformation processes is a blurring of class boundaries. Therefore, it is important to define social structure prior to this period, with the most obvious of these phenomena are manifested in remoter areas.
