Abstract
This article briefly discusses the causes of creating the image of a bloodthirsty tyrant from the first Russian Tsar – the actual Creator of the Russian state. Also a specific example considered simple in its arrogance method of belittling the values of the military victories of the era of Ivan the Terrible.
