Abstract
The author analyzes the practice of seizure of information from social networks in the investigation of criminal cases; identified ways typical procedure of registration of the information used by the investigators in the absence of specific rules of the Code. It proposed to amend the Code of Criminal Procedure article, regulating the procedure seizure of information in electronic communication over the Internet.
