THE ROLE OF INTERNATIONAL LEGAL STANDARDS TO CRIMINALIZE HOSTILE TAKEOVERS IN THE RUSSIAN CRIMINAL LAW

Abstract
Statistics of the Commission of hostile takeovers in Russia are still disappointing. Raiding is a part of the many faces of corruption. Of problems of national importance it has long become a global issue. At the level of international standards provide for certain measures to combat raiding, almost all of them are recommendatory in nature. The authors propose to consider raiding as a universal international phenomenon and changing the criminal law to take into account positive foreign experience of counteraction to unfriendly mergers and acquisitions.
