Abstract
The article considers the special features of the judicial system on the territory annexed by Russia of Eastern Armenia. The author systematized legislative acts, archival information, as well as basic research on the issue of formation of the judicial system and reform in Eastern Armenia during the nineteenth century. On the basis of the material examined conclusions about the main trends in the reform of the judicial system in the region, the ratio of these changes with the situation in the justice system in the Central provinces of the Russian Empire, and the importance of the reforms in the judicial system for the future development of Eastern Armenia.
